Dixie GillaspieDixie Gillaspie's Story

A business consultant since 1994, our founder, Dixie Gillaspie, has been a trainer, a business analyst, a transition specialist, a speaker, an author and a coach. Her focus and vision have always come back to people, and today she uses her experience and abilities to work with clients who want to create personal and professional transformations to create stratospheric success.

She defines her purpose, the outcomes that fuel her "dynamite" energy, as threefold:

  1. Helping everyone become more connected; to their inner voice, their instincts, their community, their clients, their prospects, even to people they don't know yet.

  2. Encouraging everyone to define success their own way and to pursue it by whatever path is most natural to them.

  3. Creating a world where no one says "I can't" - they say "How can I?" and no one says "You can't" - they say "How can I help you find a way?"

Although she once pursued a career as a drama coach, Dixie has found helping clients become their best authentic selves to be far more rewarding and sustainable than helping people successfully portray someone they aren't.  Pure Synchrony came out of her belief that individuals have the power to change business if they have the resources to effect change in themselves and the encouragement to always tailor those changes to enhance their natural talents and abilities.

The Pure Synchrony vision became even clearer when Dixie discovered a book by Kathy Kolbe; Pure Instinct. The book told the story of how Kathy Kolbe developed an assessment that measures how people naturally take action when they are striving and gave such powerful examples of the difference this insight could make in a business that Dixie signed on for the next certification course. Now a Certified KolbeTM Specialist, Dixie blends the Kolbe WisdomTM with the Pure Synchrony Mission.

The vision was honed once again when Dixie read The Go-Giver, A little story about a powerful business idea by Bob Burg and John David Mann. A client to whom she recommended the book asked that she create a workshop series for his team and she contacted the authors to request permission to use their material. The resulting conversations led to her creation, at the author's request, of The Go-Giver's Path to Stratospheric Success coaching program. Dixie now offers group workshops, keynotes and individual coaching based on the principles found in The Go-Giver.

Both the Kolbe WisdomTM and The Go-Giver are perfectly in sync with Dixie's core philosophy; that everyone can achieve stratospheric success if they discover their purpose, their path and their natural advantages.

Her talents for bringing people together make her a natural for Kolbe Team Success SeminarsTM and team and partner retreats. Dixie's business experience and people smarts, combined with her natural exuberance, have injected energy and added perspective for hundreds of organizations. Her nickname, Dixie Dynamite, is partly a tribute to the energy she brings to speaking engagements. It isn't  unusual to hear someone recommend her as a speaker by saying, "you've got to hear Dixie speak, she's dynamite."

Dixie's consulting strengths are rooted in her ability to quickly hone in on what she terms "dis syncs" - those elements that don't align and can cause dysfunction. Whether those dis syncs exist between departments or team members, between management and teams or between systems and people, Dixie's respect for individuals, and deep understanding of relationships and synergy, guide her in creating a strategy for bringing everything into alignment. Dixie has a real passion for growing businesses and her clients praise her ability to help them focus on their destination and eliminate the roadblocks that would keep them from reaching it.

"As a consultant and coach I act as a catalyst for change, give people the freedom to grow their strengths and to use their strengths to outgrow their weaknesses. As a Certified KolbeTM Consultant I give clients the insight and personal power to use their natural method of problem solving to the fullest. I love to work with entrepreneurs and solopreneurs, organizations and individuals, the one thing my clients have in common is that they understand that you cannot develop and business without developing the people in the business."  Dixie Gillaspie, President
